Richard Vander Boswell, 85 of Pensacola, FL passed away on April 20, 2022 at Covenant Hospice at Sacred Heart Hospital. He was born in Bonifay, FL on July 18, 1936 to Columbus and Lois Boswell as the oldest of seven children.
He graduated from high school in 1954, Richard joined the United States Air Force the same year.
After service 20 years in the Air Force and he retired in 1974. He worked as a service officer for Holmes County, FL for a brief time; was a City Councilman of Bonifay, FL for a brief time. He was also a member of Bethlehem Masonic Lodge #276 in Bonifay, FL and a member of West Bonifay Baptist Church.
Richard is preceded in death by his parents and brother, James Coy Boswell.
He is survived by his brothers, Delton E. Boswell, Thomas G. Boswell, Marvys S. Boswell and Walter E. Boswell; sister, Alta Grubbs; sons, Larry R. Boswell and Brett S. Boswell; and one daughter, Gina D. Weikel.
