Obituary for Robert Read
Robert Michael “Mike” Read of Gulf Breeze, FL passed away peacefully at his home with his wife by his side on December 21st, 2022 at the age of 63. He was born in Jacksonville, FL on November 28, 1959.
Mike was preceded in death by his parents, Robert L. Read and Dorthea Moskowitz.
Mike is survived by his wife of 15 years, Denisha Read; two daughters Gena Glover (Chris) and Michaela Read (Gavin); two step-children Dillon Stanley (Calli) and Summer Stanley; four grandchildren Brayden, Savannah, and Isla (Gena) and Maddix (Michaela); sisters Paula Spangler, Jane Safakoo, and Terri Read; brothers John Read and Patrick Fennell; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Mike was a generous, hard working man with a big heart. He loved telling stories and making others smile. He had many talents and one very special gift of transforming homes for his clients, many of whom became close friends. Mike was creative, inventive, and was always building something for a project. He loved to fish, hunt, eat out, and spend time with family and friends.
