Obituary for Ronald Boyd Amerson
Ronald Boyd Amerson, 62, of Pensacola, FL passed away on January 31, 2021. Ronald was born to parents Lewis Amerson and Cornelia Hall Amerson on March 21, 1958 in Thomasville, GA.
He was an Ordained Minister for 24 years and was a member of Ferry Pass Baptist Church. He was also a member of American Legion Post 33. Ronald also served in Vietnam in the United States Army.
Ronald is preceded in death by his parents, Lewis Amerson and Cornelia Hall Amerson; brother, James Amerson; sister, Gail; and daughter, Carrie Faulkner.
He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Charlotte Amerson; brothers, Jerry Amerson, Mike Amerson, and Phil Amerson; sons, Danny Odom, Charles Thomas Jr., and Chris Amerson; daughters, Laura (Aubrey) Winslow, and LaToya Wade; seven grandchildren; and eight great grandchildren.
The family would like to thank Brother Cook, friends and family at Ferry Pass Baptist Church, EMS, the Sheriffs Department, and the Fire Department.
The memorial service for Ronald will be held on Saturday, February 6 at 11 a.m. at Ferry Pass Baptist Church. (9270 N. Davis Hwy)
