Ruth Corey, 60, left us to be with our Father on December 25, 2022.
Ruth was born in Fayetteville, North Carolina to Ernest and Doris Kinsley. Ruth married her loving husband, David Corey Sr. in 1984. Her passion and goal were to work with others to stay sober, and to be of service to the AA Community which elected her as the Area 1 Delegate.
She is preceded in death by her father, Ernest Kinsley.
Ruth is survived by her husband; son, David Corey Jr.; daughter, Jessica; granddaughters, Avril and Raegan; mother, Doris; and sisters, Jeannie, Amanda, Theresa, and Nadene (Scott).
The service will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday, December 29, 2022 at Trahan Family Funeral Home. Interment will follow after to Eastern Gate Cemetery where she will be laid to rest.
