Obituary for Stephanie Victoria Parker
Stephanie V. Parker, 69, went home to be with the Lord on February 17, 2021. Stephanie was born on June 30, 1951 in Greenville, South Carolina to Wilburn C. Sanders and Elizabeth June Sanders.
Stephanie moved to Pensacola, Fl when she was 6 years old. She graduated from Woodham High School. She was very accomplished. She absolutely loved children and working with them. Early in Stephanie’s marriage she was a stay at home mom to her twin boys. She worked in children’s church with her sister Debbie and sang a lot in a local gospel group. She was a poll worker and volunteered at Community Action Program. She was active in Ladies group and was also a charter member along with sister Debbie at Victory Bible Baptist Church for 50 years.
Stephanie was a caring and loving mother, sister, daughter, grandmother and church member. She will be missed dearly.
Pallbearers will be Matthew Parker, Josh Parker, Ronnie Sanders, Ryan Sanders, Chris Clifton, Ian Forrester and Mike Griffith.
Stephanie is preceded in death by her parents, Wilburn and Elizabeth Sanders; cousin, Vickie Marie Burnham.
Those left to cherish her memories are her twin sons, William A. (Jeanie) Parker and David E. Parker; sisters, Diane Griffith and Deborah (Tim) Peterson; twin brothers, Ronald (Gayle) Sanders and Donnie Sanders; grandsons, Matthew Parker and Joshua Parker; numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, nephews; dear friends, Sharon (Monty) Shields and Gena Yoast.
A Funeral Service for Stephanie will be held on Tuesday, February 23, 2021 at Trahan Family Funeral Home, Pensacola. Visitation will be at 11:30 a.m. with the Service to follow at 12:30 p.m immediately following the Service we will go in procession to Pensacola Memorial Gardens for a graveside service at 2:00 p.m.
