On March 4, 2023, Tara LeeAnn Mason crossed the Rainbow Bridge in Heaven to join her beloved English bulldog, Bentley. Tara was a long-time employee of Regions Bank, recipient of the prestigious Presidential Award. She loved her career in real estate lending, especially agriculture, and shared that bond with her stepfather Bill. She was active in Pet Rescue programs and online pet auctions to raise money for dogs and horses. Her love of animals and forever homes kept her busy as she devoted herself to her causes. Tara shared cooking recipes, interest in gemology, and horses with her mother Sherri. Her favorite football team was the Georgia Bulldogs, alma mater of her father Scott, and never missed a game. Tara had a great sense of humor, always enjoying a good laugh.
Tara is the daughter of Sherri Eschbach and stepfather Bill Eschbach from Georgia and daughter of Scott Lee Mason and stepmother Sarah Mason from Cantonment, Florida. Tara really enjoyed her family and friends, especially her life friend, Heather Trinkle Williams; sister, Lauren Eschbach; step brother, Matt Carter; cousin, Shawn Mason; nieces, Brynleigh Hutto and Ariah Ellis, and her sweet little dog Cocoa. She is preceded in death by her stepsister, Michelle Carter; grandparents, JoAnn Brewer Sellers and George & Lyndall Mason, and her uncle “Skip” Mason.
