Obituary for Terry L. Warford Jr.

Our beloved son, brother, father, uncle and friend Terry Leroy Warford, Jr, left this earth, peacefully in sleep on Sunday, February 12, 2023. Terry was born on April 18, 1982 in Miami, FL, and was a long time resident of the Pensacola area.

Terry is survived by his daughter Sophia, parents Terry Sr and Debra, brothers and sister Chris (Maryann), Kelly (Kasey), April (Jeff) and many nieces, nephews and in-laws who adored him.

Terry worked on a neighbors horse ranch when he was young, cleaning stalls and feeding animals. After high school he worked at a local BBQ place and got a kick out of wearing the Pig mascot costume for events. He stocked groceries at Winn Dixie over nights for a few years and then he got into working on cars. For years, he was a service tech at a local car dealership and worked his way into a mechanic role. He then drove trucks and did merchandising for a while after that and then went to CDL truck driving school, after graduating he drove over the road for a while. He came home to be with his family more and ended up driving linen loads to hotels and casinos in Tennessee, Mississippi and Louisiana. After covid hit, he found local work as an assembler for a construction supply company. After a while he worked his way into a role there as a dispatcher for the company.

Terry enjoyed books, movies, music and hanging out with family and friends. He was funny, stoic and kind; always willing to help someone in need. His greatest joy was spending time with his daughter Sophia.

May his soul rest in sweet peace.
