Obituary for Toshi Knecht
Toshi Uegojwa Knecht, 80, of Pensacola, Florida passed away on August 18, 2022. She was born in Naha, Okinawa, Japan to her mother, Ume Naka. She was born and raised in Okinawa, Japan.
Toshi married Morris Knecht from the United States Navy and moved to the United States. She received her United States Citizenship in 1986. Toshi was a dedicated wife and mother. She was baptized at the Church of Christ in Marlin, Texas.
Toshi was preceded in death by her brother, Hiroshi Naka.
She is survived by her husband, Morris Duane Knecht; daughter, Kathryn Linda Riley; son, Dwayne Morris Knecht; grandsons, Blake Hutchinson Wootten and Tyler Dwayne Knecht. Sister in life, Fumi Noha Watson; daughter in life, Janet Michelle Watson.
A Celebration of Life Memorial will be held at Barrancas National Cemetery – committal shelter B at 11:30 a.m. on Friday, August 26, 2022.
