Vickie Lynn Eidson, 57 of Pensacola, FL passed away on Saturday, April 30, 2022. She was born in Tampa, FL on July 17, 1964 to her parents, Arthur Strickland and Barbara Foote.

Vickie loved her puppy, the color purple, butterflies, and her family. Animals would just be drawn to her, and her to them. She was our animal whisper. Vickie was a people person; she could make friends with anyone. Vickie always tried to help, even when she did not have it to give. She made sure to tell you, “She loved you and cared.”

Vickie is preceded in death by both her parents; her brother, Georgie; and her sister, Peggy.

She is survived by her husband of 31 years, John Eidson; her children, Junita Lambert, Gary Rose, Jr., Shawn, Michael, and Megan Eidson; her siblings, BJ, Amy, Linda, and Richey; the apple of her eye, her ten grandchildren; one great grandbaby, and one on the way; her puppy, Tiny; and many friends.

A Going Home service will be held on Monday, May 9, 2022, at Trahan Family Funeral Home. The family invites you to join them at 2:00 p.m. for the visitation, with the service following at 3:00 p.m.
