Obituary for Victoria Morris Lett

Victoria Morris Lett
1944 - 2021

Victoria Morris Lett was born to the union of Roosevelt Morris Sr. and Gracie Mae Morris on September 16, 1944 in Harmon, Louisiana. On March 13, 2021, she was called home to be reunited with the Lord and her family: her parents, three brothers; Roosevelt Morris Jr., John Lee Morris, and Larry Morris, one sister; Betty Rose Morris, and loving granddaughter; Ki'e Grace Lett.
Victoria was baptized at an early age by the late, great, Reverend Charlie Henry at Bright Morning Star Baptist Church in Abington, Louisiana. Victoria traveled and lived in the midwest, the northeast, and the south, finally settling in Pensacola, Florida where she raised a family of eight children. A woman of strong conviction, will, and faith, she devoted her years building and nurturing her family before returning to the workforce at Joann's Fabrics to share her skills as a seamstress and in crafts for over a decade.
She leaves behind many to cherish her memories. A loving husband, Herman Lett and eight children: Sharon D. Burgos (Luis), Lisa M. Grim, Herman Lett Jr.(Rebecca), Lesley R. Lett, Lucretia R. Lett, Turquoise O. Lett, Bettina L. Lett, and Julius J. Lett (Yuna). She was a loving grandmother to Tobias D. Lett(Taylor) La'Shelle R. Lett, Janelle V. Burgos, Jordan Lett, Nacirfa Lett, Alayna Lett, Kawhi Lett, Koa Lett and great grandmother to Syncere Lett, and a host of cherished relatives and friends.
