Obituary for Vincent Eugene McCray, Sr.

Vincent Eugene McCray, Sr., was born on June 14, 1959, in Milton, Florida to the late Clarence and June McCray.
Vincent was a graduate of Milton High School, Class of 1977. Afterward, he enlisted in the United States Army. During his military service, he was stationed in Germany, Korea, Oklahoma, and Georgia. After his military service, Vincent returned to his hometown.
Vincent had several monikers; however, “Bozo” is the nickname that stuck. His comedic personality was the highlight of every encounter with him. Bozo had a love for music, cars, and his family – especially his grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. He had a collection of music that included something for everyone; he was ALWAYS DJing at family gatherings.
Vincent was predeceased by his wife, Tanisha McClain McCray; his parents, Clarence and June McCray; brothers, Charles A. Larkins, Stephen D. McCray, and Sydney McCray, Sr.; nephews, LaVincio Mack and Devin Dickerson; and niece, Jae’Desilyn McCray.
Vincent is survived by his children, Tameka Gates of Columbus, GA, Exzayphyia and Vincent “Vinnie” McCray, Jr. both of Milton, FL; grandchildren, Cameron and Tr’Miyah of Columbus, GA, and Zaydrian, Xaelan and Zyliah of Milton, FL; aunt, Alice Hill; goddaughter, Mykah McQueen; sisters: Alicia Larkins, Jennifer (Anthony) Howard, Ileane McCray of Milton, FL, Leondra McClennon of Jacksonville, FL, Gretchen (Marcus) Jackson of Navarre, FL, and Shalinda McCray of Milton, FL; paternal brother, James M. McCray; and a host of loving nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and special friends.
