Obituary for Warren Horne

Chief Warrant Officer 3 Warren Duke Horne, 64, of Milton passed away on March 31, 2023 after a long battle with pancreatic cancer.
Warren served in the Army for 20 years including tours in Honduras, Desert Storm and Somalia. He served 3 tours in Germany with his family. He also spent 15 years working at Marianna Airmotive and 5 years with VT86/HT-28 at Whiting Field. He was a man of integrity who was loved by his family and friends. He loved Krispy Kreme donuts, so much that he named his dog, KK after them. He loved music, wood working and never passed up a good steak.
He was always quick to share how much he loved the Lord. We are thankful to know he is now at peace and resting in Heaven.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Donald Lee and Mary Louise Horne; brother, David L. Horne; and father-in-law, Joseph E. Stuart.
Survivors include his wife of 44 years, Cindi Stuart Horne; his children, Christopher and Courtney Horne and Michael and Jess Horne; mother-in-law, Betty Stuart; brothers-in-law, Joseph C. Stuart and Freddy Baxter; sisters-in-law, Rhonda Baxter and Betty Jo Stuart; nieces and nephews: France and Aimee Stuart, Hope and Ryan Bui, Mattie and Luke Baxter, Heather Horne; great-nephews, Olin and Riggs Stuart; cousins, Robbie and Debbie Clipper.
Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the funeral service begins at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, April 5, 2023 at Trahan Family Funeral Home, Milton Chapel.
Interment will follow at Serenity Gardens Cemetery.
