Obituary for Willie Nell Taylor (Tuberville)

On June 5, 2022, Willie Nell Turbervile Taylor, of Milton, Florida, went home to her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ after a short battle with lung cancer.
On December 10, 1939, Willie Nell Turberville was born in Uriah, Alabama. After graduating J. U. Blacksher High School in 1958, Willie went to work at Chemstrand (Monsanto Corporation) where she met Harold Louis Taylor. The two were married on February 14, 1965. Willie and Harold went on to have two children, John Robert Taylor and Donna Nell Taylor. In 1987, Willie opened her own alterations business, Lads & Lassies Alterations. She remained in business until the Covid-19 pandemic forced her to retire at the age of 80.
In her younger years, Willie enjoyed working in her yard, gardening and traveling. She loved God, family and country. Willie was the last survivor of 9 siblings.
Willie was preceded in death by her mother, Willie Luvonia (Gentry) Turberville; father, Irvin Andrew Turberville; and husband, Harold Louis Taylor.
Survivors include: a son, John Robert Taylor; a daughter, Donna Nell Taylor; two grandsons, Robert Taylor and Justin Enfinger (Haley Kent); and one granddaughter, Kenleigh Grace Enfinger.
The family would like to thank Cecil Tolbert, Patsy Johnson, Teri Straley and Renee Jennings for being such loyal and loving friends to Willie. The family would also like to thank Covenant Care Hospice for their love and kindness during Willie’s illness. As Willie wished, there will be no formal service.
