Obituary for Anna Christine Elliott

Born May 8, 1927, on December 15, 2016 Anna "Christine" Elliot joined the angels in heaven and left the shackles of earth behind her.
She was preceded in death by: her beloved husband, JC Elliot; son, Jimmy Elliot; granddaughter, Traci Miller; and sister, Peggy Bray.
Christine is survived by: her only daughter, Daneille Elliot; a sister, Helen Leham; grandchildren, Terri Miller, Robin Nelson, and Robbie Cheatum; great grandchildren include: Jacey Malone, Haley Lacey, Robert Hamm, and Jamie Hamm; as well as many friends and distant family members.
Christine moved to Florida as a small child from Texas. She loved riding in the country, going crabbing at the different bays, and telling the stories of her past. As a teenager, Christine worked at the historic Imogene Theater and she was also a Mail Woman on the Whiting Field military base. She would recant memories of the excitement felt when the war ended and how people were shouting " the war is over". Christine had a fascination with birthdays. She would always ask a new friend when their birthday was and she would never forget it once she knew it. Christine was a beautiful southern woman, a loving wife, mother, and Maw-maw and she will be forever missed by all that knew her.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 22, 2016 at Trahan Family Funeral Home, 6539 Trammel Dr., on corner of Stewart Street, Milton, Fl.
