Obituary for Willie Lee Jones

On October 31, 2017 Willie uttered these words; “I waited patiently for the Lord’s help, then He listened to me and heard my cry. He said life is but a stopping place, a pause in what’s to be, a resting place along the road to sweet eternity.”
Willie was born January 3, 1963 to the late Lee J. and Cornelia Jones.
He now walks alongside the Lord with his parents, grandparents, and five siblings.
Willie was educated in public school of Escambia County. He attended Selma University where he obtained his AA degree in business administration. He worked for Bonded Allied for over 31 years as a loyal employee.
He leaves to cherish his memories, his sisters, Priscilla Hayes of Los Angeles, CA, Rhonda (John) Gould of Pensacola, FL; nieces, Venetia Berry of Kenner, LA, Trellaney Jones of Pensacola, FL; nephews, Willie James Berry, Jr. of Pensacola, FL, Roderick Jones, of Chino Hills, CA; Special friend, Yelonda Grandison; and a host of great nieces, great nephews, aunts, uncles, and other relatives and friends.
A visitation will be held at Greater Little Rock Church on Saturday, November 11, 2017 at 12:30 p.m. with a service to follow soon after at 1:30 p.m.
