Annie T. Holley, 91, of Pensacola, FL went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, January 10, 2018. She was born in Sydney, Arkansas to her loving parents, Jimmy and Ola Wilkes on September 18, 1926.
She was a loving wife to her husband of 37 years, Wilburn Holley; beloved mother to her four children, a caring grandmother, and great grandmother. She was very fond of the outdoors, she always had a green thumb for gardening and throwing her line in the water. Annie was known as Grannie, Big Holley, Grandma, and Holley by her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren. She was also very active in her church, Windy Hill Baptist Church, working with the small children in the nursery. In continuation with her love for children, she worked many years with the Santa Rosa County Schools.
She now walks alongside the lord with her husband, Wilburn Holley; parents, Jimmy Wilkes, Ola Wilkes; five brothers; and one sister.
Her memory now and forever lives on in the hearts of her four children, Anna (Danny) Richards, Hugh (Phyllis) Holley, Patricia (Robert) Toole, Dennis (Sheila) Holley; twelve grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; and one sister-in-law, Louise Wilkes.
A service will be held in honor of Annie’s life at Windy Hill Baptist Church, on Saturday, January 13, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. with a visitation prior to the service at 10:00 a.m. Annie will be laid to rest in Piney Grove Baptist Church Cemetery in Cottondale, FL at 2:30 p.m.
