Obituary for John Howard Forquer

John Howard Forquer
John Howard Forquer
November 11, 1937 – February 13, 2018

John H. Forquer, 80, of Cantonment, FL went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, February 13, 2018. He was born in Mt. Jewett, PA to his loving parents, Jack and Adell Forquer on November 11, 1937.
Throughout John’s life he enjoyed the little things like throwing his cast out in hopes that a fish would bite, and spending time with his family, whom he loved dearly. He dedicated his life to his family and to the United States Navy, where he proud served his country for twenty-three years.
More recently, John loved nothing more than to spend time with his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Whether it is being involved with their special Olympics, or just hanging out at the house.
He now walks alongside the Lord with his mother, Adell Forquer; father, Jack B. Forquer; son, John Howard Forquer, Jr.; and sister, Donna Jean.
His memory will forever live on in the hearts of his loving wife, Mary E. Forquer; four daughters, Rebecca L. Berry, Debbie M. Hockin, Beth E. Rushton, Brenda G. Forquer; ten grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren, and numerous extended family and friends.
John will be laid to rest at Barrancas National Cemetery on Thursday, February 15, 2018 at 11:00 a.m.
