Raymond J. “Rolo” Hale, Jr.
1976 – 2018
Raymond J. “Rolo” Hale, Jr., 41, passed away on March 28, 2018. He was bon to Raymond and Dorothy Hale on April 22, 1976.
Raymond had attended the public-school system in Escambia County. He loved being surrounded by his family, children, and friends. Raymond loved to sing and will be remembered for his beautiful voice.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Dorothy Ann Hale; grandparents, Louis and Edna Edwards, Sarah Lee Gunn; great grandmother, Annie Lee Hartley; aunts, Gloria Ann Bostic and Daisy McCastle.
Raymond is survived by his father, Raymond Hale, Sr.; one sister, Freda Hale; one brother, Antonio Hale; one daughter, Ty’Keria Gray; one son, Isaiah “JoJo” Hale; nephews, Gregory Bivins and Jamarvis Turner; one niece, D’Shanay Hale; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Pallbearers will be Jamarvis Turner, Zephaniyah Israel, Gregory Bivins, Antwan Edwards, Keshawn Kennedy, Phillip Harrison, and Deurlo Campagne.
A funeral service will be held at Trahan Family Funeral Home on Wednesday, April 4, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. with Reverend Robert L. Lewis officiating. The family will be receiving guests at 9:00 a.m. prior to the service for the viewing. Burial will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.
