“Momma Jean”
Ara Jean Stromberg, 83, of Pensacola, FL went to be with the Lord on Monday, April 23, 2018. She was born to her loving parents, Horace and Alice Shores in Cottondale, FL on February 9, 1935.
She was a hard worker throughout her entire life. After retiring from Monsanto, she then became a proud owner of the Aquarium Lounge for many years. She then retired for the second and final time at the age of 62.
Momma Jean loved being outdoors scalloping, fishing, waterskiing, and cooking the days catch. She had many dear friends that called her Momma Jean and was loved by many people. She was a caring, kind woman and we will all miss her deeply.
She is now reunited with her parents, Horace and Alice Shores; sister, Delores Windes; and her nephew, Eddie Windes.
She leaves to cherish her memories her sister, Eleanor Robinson; brother, Randall Shore; daughters, Vickie (Gary) Pratt, Donna Payne; son, Buddy Stromberg; granddaughter, Victoria Henderson; grandsons, Rodney and Ashley Davis; nine great grandchildren; and extended family and friends.
A service will be held in honor of Momma Jean’s life at Trahan Family Funeral Home on Saturday, April 28, 2018 at 11:30 a.m.
Momma Jean will be laid to rest privately surrounded by her loved ones and friends on a later date.
