Our loving mother, Freda Shirah Watts, passed away at the age of 64 on May 3, 2018 surrounded by her family at West Florida Hospital in Pensacola. Momma was born on March 10, 1954 on Eglin AFB and raised in Destin, FL.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert C. Shirah and Frances B. Ates.
Survivors include: her children: Jason, David, Katie, Barbara (Stephen), Billy (Haley), Marissa (Lynn), Alma (Stephanie), Jackie, Dixie (Ronnie), Bobbi (Daniel); Freda’s former husband and good friend, David E. Watts; stepdaughter, Lisa; grandchildren: Bobby, Kellie, Christian, Courtnee, Cerissa, Bry, Lamar, Ashlyn, Dylan, Jacob, Hayden, Nehemiah, Mason, Lanie, Persephone, Kallie, Wyatt, Alexis, and soon to be baby girl, Cameron as well as grand-furbabies; siblings: Vanessa, Craig, Sandy, Ramona, and Babs; nieces and nephews: Eric, Ashley, Danielle, Robert, AJ, and Jaz; close family friends: Paul Brooks, Diann, Derek and Kala Nowling, Mary Norton, Martha Watts and Reba Blocker.
Trahan Family Funeral Home of Milton, 6539 Trammel Dr., is in charge of arrangements.
Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. until the funeral service begins at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 12, 2018 at the funeral home.
