James "Poppy" Edward Heath, Sr age 82 passed away on September 20, 2018 at Covenant Hospice at West Florida Hospital. James was born in Coffee County, Alabama on March 15, 1936 to Barbie and G.C Heath.

James lived most of his life in Pensacola. He was a hard worker and loved to tinker on lawnmowers. He didn't want to stay anyplace that didn't have old western movies playing on the tv or a rocking chair on the front porch for him to nap in.

James is preceded in death by his parents, his sister Marie Seller and his loving wife Sandra Sue Heath.

James is survived by his brother George Edward Heath; his son Jimmy (Lisa) Heath, Pam (John) Rogers, Bobby (Michelle) Ste.Croix, Kevin (Tammy) Ste.Croix, Michelle (Glenn) Nicholson; his grandchildren Michael (Camey) Heath, Feleasha (Mark)Westbrook, Amy Ruiz, Amanda Ste.Croix, Ricky Ste.Croix, Noah Ste.Croix, Nick Ste.Croix, Alyssa Ste.Croix, Danielle Macks, Megan Dailey and several great grandchildren.

Family will hold a remembrance of James' life at his home on Sunday, September 23 beginning at 3PM. Please join us to celebrate his life and love of his family and friends.
