Timothy Hanson
(May 21, 1960 – November,11 2018)

Timothy Hanson, 58, of Pensacola FL left this earth to be with the Lord on November 11, 2018 at 11:43 p.m. He was born May 21st, 1960 in Chicago, IL to Alma Hanson an Alexander Dowthard.

Tim served in the Army 25th Infantry Division Schofield Barracks in Hawaii. He was an avid traveler traveling the world. Tim saved many lives during Hurricane Katrina in New Orleans.

In May of 2014 Tim was reunited with the love of his life; he had searched for over 30 years. He found love not just from his wife, but from her children and grandchildren as well.

Tim loved fishing, cooking, and he was an awesome handy man. He loved spending time with his family near and far.

He had a way that made everyone smile,

You will be truly missed by many.

Tim leaves to cherish his awesome memories: his wife, of 3 years, Pamela Hanson: five adopted children, Dmitri (Blanca) Watts, Jonnie Watts, Deontavian Watts, Tanavia Watts and his padawan, Shanavia Wallace; twelve grandchildren, with two on the way, and three special grandsons who loved their Paw-paw dearly, Miracle Jr., Kyng Watts, and Gage Rhoden-Watts; very special granddaughter, Dmitria Watts; five brothers, Donald Clark, Curtis Dowthard, Jeff (Johnnie) Moore, Floyd Moore and Alexander Moore all of Rockford IL; six sisters, Frankie Williams. Millie Hopson, DeAngela Moore Simmons of Rockford IL, Paulette Moore of Memphis, TN, Angela Sims of New Orleans, Lashunda Cole of Indiana, Matilda Moore of Las Vegas; as well as a host of adopted children, nephews, aunt, uncles, cousins (Hanson's & Watts), and other friends.

Special friend to us both Jacqueline Kent of Rockford IL.

Tim was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Gregory Bowl Hanson and Anthony Hanson and two sisters, Gwendolyn Hanson and Alexdria Hanson.

A celebration of life will be held at 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, November 20, 2018 at Trahan Family Funeral Home in Pensacola.
